Carroll County 9-1-1 is committed to serving the needs of the people of Carroll County. However there are still people who call 9-1-1 asking for weather information, the correct time, or often to ask, "What's the non-emergency number?" By calling 9-1-1 for those reasons you could be delaying someone else's request for emergency responders.
Please only call 9-1-1 to report an emergency.
If you accidentally call 9-1-1, stay on the line and let the dispatcher know what happened. We have no way of knowing if you dialed the wrong number or if there is actually an emergency unless we speak with you. All 9-1-1 calls, even hang-ups, are treated as an emergency unless we speak with you.
9-1-1 saves lives by saving time.
Please dial 9-1-1 for emergencies only.
The non-emergency number is 765-564-2413
